The James Vick Foundation is excited to open registration for our summer programs!
As a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, we understand the importance of providing structured athletic options for athletes during the summer months, we believe fun and exercise is so important while school is out of session. We are pleased to offer options in multiple sports to our growing enrollment.
Please review the the programming outlines, and fill out an application by the assigned deadline.
All JVF Programming is free of charge, but participating athletes will be expected to engage in Peer to Peer fundraising to support the organization!
Middle School Field Hockey
JVF Field Hockey will be hosting a series of clinics starting June 11th, 2022, at CFC Park, the initial clinic will be commence at 2:30pm on the upper field!
As the JVF Field Hockey program continues to grow, we are prioritizing the middle school age group by offering numerous sessions throughout the summer. We are focused on improving skills, field hockey IQ, and stamina. The clinics will culminate in a certain players being selected to compete in for the first ever JVF Field Hockey (Middle School) club team this fall!

All participants will need a field hockey stick, shin guards, a mouth guard, and a water bottle. Please direct all further questions to the contact form on this website!

JVF Spartans Boys Lacrosse
After a sensational debut this winter, the JVF Spartans will return on June 11th at 1pm at CFC Park in Bethany! The session will be a tryout for players interested in competing this summer as well as a practice for returning players!
The JVF Spartans will be coached by the incredible Tyler Stein, a graduate of the ECSU mens lacrosse program!
The Spartans will practice, compete in the Bay State, and Nutmeg games, while preparing for a loaded fall season.
This is a committed, and competitive team, but we welcome players that are new to the sport, and want to learn basic fundamentals as well as improving their physical fitness.
JVF staff will make selections immediately following the first session, please contact us with any further questions

JVF Vipers Lacrosse .
The JVF Vipers will make their return June 12th at 1pm at CFC Park in Bethany Connecticut. This summer, the Vipers will practice, compete in travel tournaments, and prepare for a loaded fall season.
The Vipers are scheduled to travel to New Castle Delaware on June 24th and June 25th for the Girls Summer Slam, Waltham Massachusetts July 9th for the Bay State Games, and the Nutmeg Games at the end of July!
The girls will be coached by Head Coach Kelsey Darcy, and Associate Head Coach Jessie Bennett!
The Vipers have a few open spots that they are looking to fill, and will be evaluating prospective players on June 12th ahead of the summer tournament season. If you are interested in attending June 12th, and potentially playing for the Vipers this summer, please fill out this registration form, and we will be in touch.
Selected players will receive the team schedule following tryouts.
*Returning Vipers players will not be trying out on the 12th as they have already been selected for the summer and fall session
*Club Women's Field Hockey is already in season, but please contact us if you are interested in joining the program mailing list.
*JVF Basketball and JVF Soccer will announce their schedules June 5th!
