The James Vick Foundation is pleased to announce the return of the JVF Vipers, Connecticut's only free women's lacrosse club!
Against a backdrop of a highly competitive environment. the JVF Vipers are an accessible and competitive option for young women that love the game, and love bonding with teammates. Having fun, improving, staying healthy, and enjoying ourselves is the top priority!
After an unbelievable 2022, that saw the Vipers travel up and down the east coast, and reach heights never seen before, we look forward to a fun and competitive 2023. Only two years old, the Vipers have created incredible opportunities for young women all over Connecticut, and will look to take another competitive step in 2023!
The 2023 season will kickoff with a winter camp that will help the girls develop their skills, build confidence, and get into game shape headed into the high school season!
Aside from development, in game teaching, and social interaction with peers, the winter camp will also serve as an evaluation. At the conclusion of camp, the coaching staff will select 15 athletes to join the JVF Vipers ahead of the 2023 competitive summer travel season, in which the team will travel to Maryland, Long Island, and New Jersey.
The JVF Vipers winter camp is not exclusive to young women only looking to join the competitive travel team, all young women will have the opportunity to participate in this camp, and improve! If you an athlete needs equipment, or similar assistance do not hesitate to reach out to us.
All sessions will take place at CFC Arena in Hamden on Sundays starting January 15th 2023, workouts will run from 11am to 12:30pm!
*The JVF Vipers winter camp will be accepting a limited amount of 8th graders, if you have questions in that regard please inquire with us via the contact form on this website!
*JVF Field Hockey players, if you intend to participate in JVF Vipers lacrosse camp, please register, and JVF staff will be in touch with you regarding your specific schedule. We encourage multi sport athletes to take advantage of the opportunity.
The JVF was humbled by the magnificent feats of #Viperslax in 2022, we cannot wait to see what the 2023 has in store for this amazing program!
