New Haven -- James Vick Field Hockey is pleased to present the rosters for the 2024 JVF Dragons, and JVF Panthers.
After taking a major step forward as a program in 2023, James Vick Field Hockey enters the 2024 regular season hungry for competition, and opportunity.
The two ball clubs will host the 2024 Yale Series scheduled to kick off in April!

The JVF Dragons enter the 2024 campaign determined to build on the success of last year's team. Led by Senior captains Kayla Wilonski, Elizabeth Hagg, and Bianca Ciaburro, the Dragons are the first version of the team to feature a full scholarship roster that was assembled through recruiting. They represent a new era of JVF Field Hockey and are chomping at the bit to compete in the Yale Series!

Kayla Wilonski, Senior, Wallingford, CT Sacred Heart Academy
Central Midfield
The Senior Captain, and Wheaton College Commit, returns to the program for her swan song. A first team All-State, First Team All-SCC performer, and the JVF breakout athlete of the year, Wilonski is among the greatest players to ever compete at the JVF, and now she has a team around her that will showcase her gifts, and her will to win!
Elizabeth Hagg, Senior, Hamden, CT Sacred Heart Academy
Forward
Lizzy returns for her 3rd year of JVF competition, and her first experience as a Captain. World famous for her stubborn and aggressive style of play, the Hamden native is primed for the biggest season of her JVF career. An instinctive and gifted competitor, Lizzy will lead one of the best front lines in the country. Lizzy is currently considering competing in college!
Bianca Ciaburro, Senior, North Haven, CT, Sacred Head Academy
Goalie
The Second team All-SCC performer, and Senior Captain takes the reigns as the starting goalie for the JVF Dragons. The emotional and spiritual leader of the team, the veteran competitor will look to support the best offense the organization has ever seen, and will do so alongside Lilly Bellet, and Brooke Focault.
Jillian Lydon, Junior, Orange, CT, Amity High School
Midfield
Jill enters her first full season as a captain, and her third season with the program overall. Highly regarded and widely respected within the program, "Jilly" will seek to take the next step as both a leader, and an elite Field Hockey player. Jill is deeply involved in the recruiting process and is hoping to find the right fit for her Field Hockey dreams. She stands ready to have her best season yet.
Thalia Zweeres, Junior, Branford, CT, East Haven High School
Midfield
The longest tenured player in the program returns for her inaugural run as a JVF Captain. Known for her good cheer, and team spirit, Thalia is the most experienced Field Hockey player in the program, and one of the top minds in terms of Field Hockey IQ. The Branford native has played on several editions of the JVF Dragons and will help lead the 2024 version into battle.

After an historic second place finish at the 2023 Surf and Sands college showcase, the JVF Panthers return with a deeper and more experienced team. As the life blood of the program, the Panthers will continue to step forward as ball club and distinguish themselves as a great team in their own right!

Lily Rosenberg, SR, Hamden, CT, Hamden High School
Player/Coach
Lily becomes the first player coach in the history of James Vick Field Hockey. Respected around the program for her leadership, and coaching ability, Lily will be starting her coaching apprenticeship this season, and hopefully, playing where she can. The Senior Captain will lead the upstart JVF Panthers as they attempt to become the best version of the Panthers in program history.

The JVF Field Hockey program will open its regular season this weekend at the Spring Hockey Cup in Fairfax Virginia on March 10th, and then prepare for the Yale Series Championship opener April 21st in New Haven Connecticut.
